![]() I, like you, send embedded links in e-mail, include them in posts on forums, place them in documents (MS-Word/PDF) precisely because no one should have to go out and hunt for a link that I can easily provide. I tell them to never click on links in e-mails that originate from untrusted sources or that seem "off" even if they come from someone the person would normally trust. I don't tell people "not to click on links in emails" because that's well-nigh impossible to live up to and impractical as well. I wasn't reading what you said as a criticism, per se, and if my response reads as though it's intended as a harsh admonishment it's not. Yes, I wasn't criticising your suggestion, after all, you have to find out what the official link is, somehow! With my regular customers, I usually send them a link by email, which also has it's problems, as we tell people not to click on links in emails.
